Yoga Pose for Depression Relief

This exercise helps relieve emotional tension and

frustration. By helping release emotional upset locked in the muscles,

side rolls promote a sense of relaxation, mental balance, and improved

energy and vitality.

  • Lie on your back with your hands interlaced

    under you neck.

  • As you inhale, bend and lift your right leg.
  • Then exhale and roll on your left side, with

    your knee touching the ground. As you do this, release a sigh.

  • As you inhale, return to your original position.
  • Repeat this 10 times, alternating sides.
  • Then relax on your back for 1 minute.
