Energy Secret #2
When you’re under stress, your body produces chemicals that zap your mental energy and motivation.
You’ve only won half the battle if your body feels energized, but your mind is in a fog. That’s particularly true for
women who are under stress (who isn’t?) because stress triggers the overproduction of neurotransmitters (stress-managing chemicals)
including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and cortisol. With too much cortisol, you’ll find it difficult to think and your mood will
be off.
It doesn’t have to be this way! When you support normal cortisol levels, your brain also functions more efficiently, and actually
becomes more energized. That terrible mental fatigue will seem to dissolve.

found almost exclusively in tea plants. It promotes a state of “alert relaxation”–so your mind will function at
its peak but you’ll feel relaxed and less stress. So you can increase the energy that’s on tap in your brain, safely and naturally.
